Pet-friendly house cleaning across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
A calm, thorough clean for homes with cats and dogs — extra care with fur, dander and paw prints, and pet-safe products whenever you ask.
Cleaning built around your pets
Living with pets means a little extra fur on the couch, dander in the corners and muddy paw prints by the door — and that is exactly what our team plans for. MaidEX cleaners are insured and background-checked, and they work calmly and quietly around cats and dogs so your home gets a proper reset without stressing your animals. Tell us about your pets when you book, and we will bring the same steady, detail-focused clean to every room they share with you.
It's the same honest, flat-rate pricing as our regular home cleaning — a standard clean starts around $186.90 for a one-bedroom home, GST included, no PST. New customers save 25% on the first clean with code FIRST25.
Pet-safe, low-fragrance and eco-friendly products are available on request; just add a note when you book. We are not a certified green service.
What we do
What we focus on in a pet home
Fur and dander removal
We pay extra attention to the places hair collects — along baseboards, under furniture edges, on accessible upholstered surfaces and in the corners of stairs — so your floors and surfaces feel fresh, not fuzzy.
Paw prints and entry zones
Muddy paws and busy doorways get focused care. We wipe down floors, entry mats and the high-traffic paths your pets use most so tracked-in dirt does not linger.
Pet-safe products on request
Prefer gentler, low-fragrance or eco-friendly products around your animals and kids? Just ask when you book and we will use pet-safe options for your clean.
Calm around anxious pets
Our cleaners are used to nervous dogs and shy cats. They work quietly and unhurried, give pets space, and follow any handling notes you leave so the visit stays low-stress.
Odour-aware detailing
We clean the surfaces where pet smells settle — floors, hard surfaces and accessible upholstered surfaces — to help your home smell clean and lived-in rather than masked.
Your notes guide the visit
Add pet names, no-go rooms, where the leash lives or where to keep a door closed. We follow your instructions so nothing catches you or your pets by surprise.
Common questions
Do you use pet-safe cleaning products?
We can. Pet-safe, low-fragrance and eco-friendly products are available on request — just add a note when you book. We are not a certified green cleaning service, but we are happy to use gentler options around your animals.
Does pet-friendly cleaning cost more than a regular clean?
No. It is the same flat-rate pricing as our standard home cleaning. The pet focus is about where our team spends their attention, not an extra charge.
Do I need to be home or crate my pets during the clean?
That is entirely up to you. Many clients leave pets loose while we work, and our cleaners are comfortable around cats and dogs. If your pet is anxious, a crate, closed room or your presence can help — just tell us your preference in the booking notes.
Can you get rid of pet hair on furniture and floors?
We give real attention to fur and dander on floors, baseboards, corners and accessible upholstered surfaces — we vacuum loose pet hair from reachable upholstery (upholstery shampoo or extraction isn't offered). Heavy shedding can be a lot to manage between visits, but you will notice a clear difference after each clean, and regular visits keep it under control.
What if I am not happy with the clean?
We back every visit with a satisfaction guarantee. If something is not right, let us know within 24 hours and we will come back and re-clean the areas in question at no extra cost.
