Each price is produced by the live MaidEX pricing engine for a one-time clean of the stated home size, with the 5% GST applied — the identical calculation used on the booking form. Deep and move-out figures add the matching specialty package, and move-out figures include the automatic 30% move-out discount every customer receives. Your exact price depends on your home's bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and any add-ons, so treat these as representative examples rather than a fixed quote. Recurring plans save 5–15% per clean from the second visit. New customers save 25% on the first clean with code FIRST25. Because the figures are generated live, they stay in sync with current MaidEX pricing.
What's driving cleaning prices in Metro Vancouver in 2026
Professional cleaning is labour-first work, so a handful of real, local factors shape what a clean costs across the Lower Mainland:
- Labour and wages. Most of a cleaning price is skilled human time. BC's rising minimum wage and cost of living push wages up, and reputable companies pay above minimum to keep experienced, background-checked cleaners.
- Insurance and vetting. Being fully insured and background-checking every cleaner is an ongoing cost that fly-by-night operators skip — and that a homeowner would be exposed to if something went wrong.
- Travel across a spread-out region. The Lower Mainland covers a lot of ground, so time and fuel between jobs factor into pricing, especially for one-time cleans.
